Cleaning House Tips
We all have had a moment where we look at our living room, kitchen, bathroom or whatever room it may be, then shake our heads in disgust just dreading the idea of actually having to clean it up. Well, there comes a time when we realize that we just cannot put up with a messy home anymore and we realize that we have to do something about it...now!
Have no fear though, as tough a job cleaning a house is, we can make it easier by remembering these easy cleaning house tips.
The first thing you'll want to do before you delve into your house cleaning duties is find something comfortable to wear. Wear some clothes that you won't mind if they get dirty and ones that won't limit your movements. Sweat pants, shorts, t-shirts, or long sleeve t-shirts will work depending on how hot or cold you will be. If you are working hard like you should, the least amount of comfy clothes would be smart.
Great! Now you got the proper attire on and you are ready to go. We now need to get you armed and ready to go to battle. When I clean, my priority is efficiency and getting everything done as needed ad in the least amount of time with the east amount of work exuded. In order to do this, we should have everything ready and at our convenience.
Some people use an apron to carry their goods, others carry a tote or bucket and haul it along with them as they go. I carry a bucket because an apron is a little sissy for me and I also don't want to lose things as I bend over when working. An apron also limits my movements and Ill be having to take it off and put it back on way to often.
What do I use? I use the good old fashioned bucket. For me it just makes my life much easier when cleaning. The bucket allows me to put everything I need in it and is much easier to carry and haul around. Trust me when I say that using a bucket will absolutely help you speed up your cleaning time and is probably one of the best cleaning house tips I can give.
So you've decided to use the bucket then right? Okay, great choice! Now we just have to find you the right products to put in your bucket to make your job even easier than we have already made it for you.
Here's another great cleaning house tip to use...I would recommend using 100% biodegradable products. These will make sure to keep your furniture and items safe and more importantly, they'll help protect family and pets as well.
Stock your bucket with the following items:
White distilled vinegar: This is a great product to get the stink and smell out of areas and also works well in removing soap scum and deposits.
Baking soda: Don't clean home without it! It's also a great way to get rid of smells but is better used in cleaning hard surfaces like tile, counter tops, and bathroom areas.
Liquid soap: You can mix the soap with the vinegar to make it smell better when cleaning.
Olive oil: Makes furniture look new! Use it on wood to make it shine.
Club soda: You can use this product to help you take deep stains out of materials and rust of of metal when mixed with baking soda.
There are a number of other products you can use in making your house shine. Just remember to use safe products and purified water when cleaning.
